It is with great sadness that we report that Roberta Rothenbach, a well-respected breeder and exhibitor of Yorkshire Terriers passed away on October 21, 2009.

A member or the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America since 1978, Roberta bred and exhibited some of the most successful champions in our breed. Her kennel name was "Rothby's".

Roberta was a mentor to many who are active in the Yorkshire Terrier fancy today and served the YTCA in many capacities, most recently as Chair of the Judges Selection Committee.

Her contributions to the Yorkshire Terrier breed will long be remembered.

This photo of Roberta was published on the back cover of the WMYTC show catalog from our specialty on April 11, 1999. She is shown handling Ch. Rothby's Reputation, one her many outstanding champions.
